What Nilex Specialises In: Business Systems, Online Stores, SEO Websites and AI Assistants for Egyptian Companies
A map of what Nilex Digital Systems builds: seven ready-made business systems, custom ERP, online stores, SEO company websites and AI chatbots, with the clients behind each line of work and how a project runs from quotation to support.

Nilex Digital Systems is a Cairo software company that specialises in four kinds of work for Egyptian businesses: business management systems (seven ready-made systems plus custom ERP), online stores, SEO company websites, and AI chatbots that know a company's products and rules. Every Nilex system works in Arabic and English, and most of our published client projects combine two or more of these lines, for example a website that feeds a management system, or a store with an AI assistant on every page.
This page is the map. If you are deciding whether Nilex is the right company for your project, it shows what we do, what we do not do, which clients each line of work comes from, and where to read the details. Knowing a software company's real specialities before you call saves both sides time, and it protects you from buying something the company has never actually built.
Key takeaways
- Nilex has four service lines: custom ERP and business systems, e-commerce stores, SEO business websites and AI business chatbots.
- Seven ready-made systems are published on /systems, each for one type of business, each with demo videos, screenshots, modules, plans and a request form.
- Our case studies cover a legal publisher, a law firm, a physiotherapy clinic, a coffee roastery and a home-appliance retailer.
- Every project follows the same written process: quotation, installments if you want them, 14 days of testing, 30 days of free fixes after acceptance, and a client portal.
- You own your data and can get a copy of it on request; Nilex keeps the source code and gives you a licence to use the system for your business.
What are Nilex's four service lines?
Each line has its own service page with its features, packages and FAQs. Here is what each one is for, in one paragraph.
Custom ERP and business systems
A custom ERP system built from scratch around the way your company works, not on Odoo or another ready-made platform. It covers suppliers, customers, purchase and sales orders, branches, factories, warehouses and stock, income and expenses, employees and roles. Every action by every user goes into an audit log, financial records cannot be silently changed, and reports export to PDF and Excel. It can also sync products, stock and orders with your online store.
E-commerce stores
An online store built to be found on Google: every product and category gets its own page with a unique title, link, description and images. Customers pay by card, mobile wallet or cash on delivery, and the team follows orders, stock and customers from one dashboard. Most stores launch in three to six weeks, depending on the package and the number of products.
SEO business websites
A fast company website, server-rendered and ready for search, where every page has its own title, description, link and image. It includes an articles section, an admin dashboard so you edit content yourself, and Google Search Console set up and followed at launch.
AI business chatbots
An AI chatbot that knows your business: it answers customers, recommends products and can be connected to your real data rather than a generic script. We have built assistants that recommend legal books, design coffee blends and size air conditioners, plus the sales assistant on our own website.
Which ready-made systems does Nilex offer?
Next to custom work, we publish seven ready-made systems, each designed for one type of business. You see the system working in its demo videos before you buy it, and it is set up around your way of working; a similar custom system can be built the same way. Our guide to ready-made business systems in Egypt explains when a ready-made system beats building from scratch.
| System | Built for | What it runs |
|---|---|---|
| Car protection film centers | PPF, nano-ceramic, tint and wrap centers, single or several branches | Every center you own from one screen |
| Car repair centers and workshops | Service workshops, multi-brand centers, quick-service and A/C specialists | Job cards, estimates, customer approval, technicians, parts and invoices |
| Wholesale distribution and warehouses | Distributors, importers and factories with their own fleet | Warehouses, delivery vans, shop customers and suppliers |
| Coffee roasteries and factories | Roasteries, coffee factories and traders | Green coffee, roasting, blends, customer orders and supply |
| Online supermarket and grocery delivery | Supermarkets, grocers, fruit, vegetable and butcher shops | An online store with weight-based selling, delivery areas and time slots |
| Real estate developers | Developers, compound owners and brokerage companies | Leads, sales, payment plans, collections, units, project execution and HR |
| Schools | Private, language and international schools, nurseries and centres | Website and portals, students, timetable, attendance, grades, fees and HR |
Each system page has demo videos with Arabic captions, 20 screenshots, the modules, who the system is for, the plans, FAQs and a request form. Plan prices are shown on each page in your currency, so we do not repeat them here. The full list is on /systems.
Who has Nilex built for?
Our published case studies are on /clients. They show the service lines working together in real businesses:
- Legal publishing: Dar El Ahram, an online bookshop with 800+ legal titles, 19 legal branches and 340+ authors with their own pages, card payment or cash on delivery, shipping across Egypt and abroad, and an AI assistant that recommends books for a reader's legal question. The full story is in our online legal bookshop case study.
- Law firm: Al Hasswa Law Firm, a website with a page for each of its 10 practice areas, online consultation booking, 140+ articles, a law library of 550+ laws and decrees, and a practice-management system with client and employee portals.
- Healthcare: PhysioTech Clinic in Maadi, a website with a page for each of its 10 treatments and a clinic system for patients, doctors, schedules, rooms, sessions and finance, with four portals.
- Food and retail: Anas Saleh Coffee, a roastery store with 98 products, a fixed delivery fee for each of the 27 governorates and an AI coffee expert; and Bashayer El Khair, a home-appliance store with 400+ products and 38 brand pages and an AI shopping assistant.
What we learned launching the three stores is collected in lessons from launching online stores in Egypt.
How do the service lines fit together?
Few businesses need only one thing. A clinic needs a website that brings patients and a system that runs the bookings; a store needs a catalogue that ranks and a dashboard that ships orders. That is why our projects are usually combinations:
| If your business needs to… | Typical combination | Real example |
|---|---|---|
| Be found on Google and take bookings | SEO website + booking + management system | PhysioTech Clinic, Al Hasswa Law Firm |
| Sell a large catalogue online | Online store + SEO on every product + AI assistant | Dar El Ahram |
| Sell products that need advice | Online store + AI assistant with your buying rules | Anas Saleh Coffee, Bashayer El Khair |
| Run a whole sector-specific operation | One of the seven ready-made systems, set up for you | See /systems |
| Run a way of working no ready system covers | Custom ERP, connected to your store if you have one | See the custom ERP page |
The common thread is that the public side is built for search and the system behind it is built for daily use. Our article on websites connected to a management system shows what that looks like in practice.
How does a Nilex project work?
The rules are the same for every client and are written in our Terms of Service:
- Scope and quotation. We agree the scope and send a written quotation with the price, the payment schedule and the delivery time.
- Payment. One payment or installments linked to dates or project stages, with the first installment before work starts. Bank transfer, InstaPay, mobile wallet, cash at our office or cheque, and every payment gets a receipt or invoice.
- Testing. After delivery you have 14 days to test and report any error; we fix it and deliver again.
- Free fixes. For 30 days after acceptance we fix any error in the delivered work free of charge. After that, support is under a support plan or quoted separately.
- Changes. Work outside the agreed scope is a change request, quoted and agreed before we do it.
- Client portal. Every client gets a portal to follow the project, see invoices and payments, and send edit and support requests.
The standards we build into every system, from portals per role to the audit log, are explained in what makes a business system professional.
What about your data and security?
You keep ownership of your content and data, and you can get a copy of your business data, for example as Excel or CSV, on request, even after the agreement ends. Nilex keeps the source code and gives you a licence to use the system for your business. Both sides keep each other's business information confidential.
On security, every page and API call goes over HTTPS with HSTS, passwords are hashed with bcrypt, accounts lock for 15 minutes after 5 wrong passwords, every user sees only what their role allows, and important actions are recorded in an audit log. Client data is handled according to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and we never ask for or store card numbers. When we host a system, we take regular backups.
What Nilex does not do
Being clear about limits is part of being a specialist. We do not hand over source code; you get a licence and your data. We do not build on Odoo or similar platforms for ERP work; we build around your workflow. And we do not slip extra work into a project: anything outside the written scope goes through a change request that you see, and agree to, before it is done.
The technology behind our work is listed on /technologies: Angular with server-side rendering, Node.js, Express and PostgreSQL across our case studies.
How Nilex helps
Pick the starting point that matches where you are:
- Your business matches one of our sectors: open the system on /systems, watch the demo videos, read the plans and send the request form for the same system or a similar one. The team replies to every request.
- You need something built around your workflow: start from the custom ERP page or the e-commerce page.
- You want more enquiries from Google: see the SEO business website service.
- You want an assistant that answers like your best salesperson: see the AI business chatbot service.
- You are not sure: contact us with a short description of your business, or read why companies choose Nilex.
Frequently asked questions
Does Nilex only work with companies in Egypt?
We are based in Cairo and our work is built around Egyptian businesses, but our systems work in Arabic and English, plan prices are shown in USD to visitors outside Egypt, and Dar El Ahram's store ships to other countries.
Should I choose a ready-made system or custom work?
If one of the seven systems covers most of your daily work, start with it and add what is specific to you as custom work. If none does, a custom system is the honest answer. Our ready-made systems guide walks through the decision.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Payment can be one payment or installments linked to dates or project stages, with the first installment due before work starts. The exact schedule is in your written quotation.
Do I get the source code?
No. Nilex keeps the source code and gives you a licence to use the system for your business. You own your content and data and can get a copy of your business data, for example in Excel or CSV, on request.
How do I follow my project once it starts?
Through the Nilex client portal, where you follow the project, see invoices and payments with their receipts, and send edit and support requests. Project updates and invoices are also sent by email.
